As a restauranteur, bon vivant, and founder of “Tandoori Garden Restaurant – Anaheim,” Sid Gandhi has always had the vision of creating a space where people get together over good food and drink to make connections and memories. Tandoori Garden made that possible and has been a hugely successful restaurant and event catering service for a decade now. In 2019, Akshita Khurana, Managing Director of OurIndianCulture.com, came on board to join Sid as a Business Partner, forging a dynamic relationship that has helped to redefine the Indian dining, entertainment, and community experience for today’s food savvy diners. Together this team is the vision behind Tamba30, the reinvention of a local Anaheim favorite – Tandoori Garden, and they’re changing the way So Cal looks at food and celebrations. Indian food and tastes are now global and infused with contemporary flavors. We’re at the forefront of this shift towards fresh, fusion Indian flavors and cooking techniques, creating a contemporary approach to fine Indian cuisine at Tamba30. The name itself a celebration of the thirty commonly used spices in the Indian kitchen, a nod towards our rich tradition and heritage.
Tamba’s dishes combine the finest seasonal ingredients with a precise, exquisite technique and beautiful presentation. The menu encourages sharing and experimentation, retaining the social aspect of traditional Indian dining. A thoughtful wine list, with an emphasis on champagne, complements both the flavors of the food and the overall sense of occasion. CHEF SINGHEXECUTIVE CHEF
Executive Chef Harpreet Singh came from Punjab, India with little else than a twinkle of the American Dream in his heart and a deep, intuitive understanding of food and flavor learnt in his grandmother’s kitchen and working in his teens at Punjab’s famous highway ‘Dhabas’. He earned his chops at Tamba30 (formerly Tandoori Garden) working as Kitchen Assistant, then Sous Chef and took over Head Chef in 2013. Harpreet’s gift lies in innovation. He absorbs modern flavors and adopts the local foods of California and skillfully fuses them into the classic, comfort Indian dishes that even the most discerning food connoisseurs cannot get enough of. (Have you tried his California Naan?!) Chef Harpreet Singh & Restaurateur Sid Gandhi together with Tamba30 (formerly Tandoori Garden) were featured on the TV show “Foodies Come to America”.
